Thunderful Games

Thunderful Games consists of two separate units: Thunderful Development and Thunderful Publishing.

The business has historically consisted of the game developers Image & Form, Zoink and Guru Games, which during the second half of 2020 have been merged and integrated into the joint company Thunderful Development. In October 2020, the British game studio Coatsink Software was also acquired and in November 2020, the game studio The Station was incorporated into Thunderful Development. In October 2021 Robot Teddy was acquired to create new investment pillar “Thunderful Investment”.

Thunderful Development has a game portfolio with a total of 24 own intellectual property rights in the form of various game titles and game series. The games have sold over fifteen million copies.

Thunderful Publishing handles the publishing of titles partly developed internally, partly developed by other western game studios, as well as Rising Star Games, which focuses on the publication of Japanese game titles in the west.

Thunderful Investment is managed by the talented team at Robot Teddy whilst they will continue supporting existing and new partners. Thunderful Investment will launch two investment funds: one focused on game development and vertical slices, and the other for those who seek support for their VR-projects.
